After completing the hiring process with Grand Canyon University, you will receive your GCU username and a GCU email account will be created for you. It’s important to check your email regularly as you will receive messages from students, other employees, and important notices from the university.
Quickly Accessing Your Email - Direct Website
The quickest way to access your GCU Email is by navigating to the direct URL for your inbox. All faculty (regardless of adjunct vs. full-time status) can access their email through the following link:
To log in, enter your GCU email address, which is your GCU username followed by @my.gcu.edu (adjunct faculty) or @gcu.edu (full-time faculty). Your password is the same password you use to access the Faculty Portal. Once you have entered your username and password, click Sign In. You will then be prompted to complete steps for multi-factor authentication as well. Once you're logged in, we suggest bookmarking the page to allow for quick access to your GCU Email.
Accessing Your Email Through the Portal
To access your GCU Email from within the Faculty Portal, select the Email button from the navigation bar in the upper right hand corner.
If you are not directed to your inbox in a new tab, you may need to adjust your browser’s pop-up blocker settings.
In a new tab, you will be directed to log into your GCU email. Your GCU email address is your GCU username followed by @my.gcu.edu (adjunct faculty) or @gcu.edu (full-time faculty). If you encounter any issues when accessing your GCU email account, try resetting your password or clearing your cache and cookies.
