The Center for Innovation in Research and Teaching (CIRT) website is home to many resources for faculty and students. Here you can find the Faculty Resource Center (FRC) and some additional course material. Follow the steps listed in the Accessing the FRC accordion below to access the FRC. NOTE If you are a student trying to access CIRT for course material, you do not have to log in. Basic troubleshooting can be used to resolve errors that you receive on this website. Please contact your instructor if you have any questions.Expand/Collapse All Accessing the FRC To begin, navigate to cirt.gcu.edu and click the (Sign In) link in the upper-left hand corner of the page. You will be asked to select if you are a GCU Faculty, Staff or if you are a user with a non-GCU email. If you are a faculty or staff member with GCU, make sure to select the GCU Faculty, Staff option. On the Microsoft login page, enter your faculty email address and then your faculty password. After entering your account information, click Sign in. NOTE If you are unable to log into CIRT or you do not have access to the FRC, please contact GCU Technical Support for further assistance. Once you are logged in, a new GCU Faculty tab will be made available. Click on the new GCU Faculty tab. Accessing FRC Resources The Faculty Resource Center (FRC) contains many useful resources that you can use during your time at GCU. The resources available through the FRC include, but are not limited to: The instructions for submitting Incomplete Grades A tutorial on submitting your Final Grades through the Halo Learn classroom Many of GCU's policies and procedures Instructions on Plagiarism Reporting Help articles on submitting an Early Alert The following sections are just a few resources that are available on the FRC. Keep in mind that you will need to log into CIRT to access the FRC and to view these resources. Quick Links: Will provide access to resources such as the Classroom Policies, Code of Conduct, and the On Demand Workshops. Faculty Success: Provides the resources for specific colleges, information for departments used by faculty, and the university compliance policies. Classroom and Student Success: From here you can find the Classroom expectations, instructions for providing feedback and grading, and other resources that will help during your online class. NOTE If you are on a Mac device, using Safari may lead to errors or loading issues with FRC resources, we recommend installing and using Microsoft Edge or another supported browser. If you are not on a Mac device and you are experiencing issues with accessing FRC resources, attempt basic troubleshooting. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact GCU Technical Support. Faculty Training in CIRT Through the Center for Innovation in Research and Teaching (CIRT) you will complete your faculty training. If you lost the link or never received the link to your CIRT Faculty Training, we recommend that you email Faculty Training and Development (FT&D) to be provided with the link. NOTE When attempting to access training resources such as PDF documents, you may receive a 404 error message if you are not signed into the site. Follow the steps listed in the Accessing the FRC accordion above to sign in. Quizzes in CIRT In CIRT there are On Demand Workshops that have quizzes at the end. These quizzes are part of the Test Application Platform system. When asked to log into the quiz, enter either your GCU username or GCU email and password. If you are experiencing issues when logging into the quizzes in CIRT, we recommend resetting your password. When a quiz is completed through the Test Application Platform, you may get the option to download a certificate of completion. If you cannot download the certificate but you need proof you completed your training, please go to ftd-attestation.gcu.edu to download the certificate. After downloading the certificate of completion, email Faculty Training and Development (FT&D) to have your event record updated.
