During your time with GCU, it’s important to track your progress and quickly see your schedule and program information. The Student Degree Progress Audit app available in the GCU Student Portal that displays details of your program along with the schedule of your program and any courses that you transferred from another institution.
Accessing the Student Degree Progress Audit app
To access the Student Degree Progress Audit app, you will first need to access your GCU Student Portal. If this is the first time you are accessing your GCU Portal, we recommend checking out the article Logging into the GCU Portal.
- Once you log into your GCU Student Portal, navigate to the Class Schedule/Grades app.
- Click on Degree Progress Audit.
- You will then see the Student Degree Progress Audit app.
After accessing the Student Degree Progress Audit app, you will see an overview of your program. This includes, the Program Details, Program Summary, Program Requirements, and so much more!
You can view the information displayed on this tab in two different ways. There is a pie chart view and a table view. To switch between the views, select the appropriate icon in the top right corner of the Program Summary section.
From the Overview tab, you can also see the credits that are not applied to your program. There are two sections for this information, which includes your GCU credits and credits from other schools that do not apply to the program.
Selecting the Schedule Tab at the top will provide you with information about your completed, current, scheduled, and future classes.
You can filter the classes by the Program and Status.
The Transfer Tab will display the credits and class information for the classes that were completed at another school.
You can filter the information listed here by the Institution and the Status.
If you would like to download a copy of your schedule, you can export the data. Click Export To PDF to download your schedule as a PDF.
Errors
You may see a warning that says, “Please wait while we retrieve your updated Degree Plan” when accessing the Student Degree Progress Audit app. This warning comes up while the system tries to retrieve the latest information of the program details. The update process can take up to a day to retrieve the data.
Once the Degree Plan has been updated, a pop-up will appear saying “Degree Plan Updated”. Press OK to close the pop-up.
