Grand Canyon university strives to provide a safe environment for students, staff, faculty, and guests. The Public Safety department offers the following resources and services: Dispatch Center Sworn police officers Campus safety guards Parking permits and enforcement Emergency blue light phones throughout campus and in every garage Emergency text messaging – AlertGCU Anonymous ‘TIPs’ reporting Lost and found The Public Safety office is located on the first floor of the Grove parking garage (building 80). They can also be contacted by calling 602-639-8100. Expand/Collapse All Emergency Text Messaging-AlertGCU AlertGCU is the emergency messaging system used by the University to notify the students and staff of emergency events around the GCU campus with a single mass notification. You can update your information for the AlertGCU alert system in the GCU Student Portal by navigating to the GCUAlert app. For help logging into the GCU Student Portal, check out the Navigating the GCU Portal article. Parking Permits and Enforcement Students who bring a car onto campus are required to register their vehicle and purchase their parking permit for their appropriate garage. Any student, staff, or faculty member is subject to receiving citations for parking violations. To purchase your parking permit or to view notices, please navigate to the GCU Parking Permit Store. You will need to create an account when you log in for the first time. You can use your GCU email address to set up your account.
