GCU is committed to protecting our students. It is very important to report any suspicious job posting to Career Services right away. If a position asks you to accept or deposit checks, purchase gift cards, exchange services, or provide personal banking or identifying information (such as a Social Security number) during the application process, proceed with caution.
Additionally, if your only communication with an employer is via email from someone who is "out of the country" or cannot be verified, we recommend conducting further research. Checking an individual’s profile on LinkedIn can be a helpful step when engaging in discussions.
