The GCU Life app is a great way to explore what GCU has to offer and improve your experience while attending GCU. This app allows you to quickly view events offered by GCU or talk with groups that you might share common interests with. To access GCU Life, you can navigate to gculife.gcu.edu or download the free GCU Life mobile application from the Google Play or App Store. Follow the instructions below to login and access the app.
To access the GCU Life app, you will need to be an active GCU student, staff, or faculty member. Once you have downloaded the GCU Life app or navigated to gculife.gcu.edu, select the appropriate accordion to sign into the app.
- To log into the GCU Life website, select SSO Login Button.

Next, use your GCU email address and password to sign in.
NOTE Faculty and staff members will use the password that they created for GCU Life once their account has been created. - Once signed in, you will be asked to select a Hub. Select the GCU Life hub.
- After you select the hub, you will have access to all the different resources available to you on this site.
- To log into the GCU Life app, open the app and select GCU Life from the Choose Campus screen.
- Next, select GCU Life from the Community Hubs list.
- Then select the GCU Life Login to sign in with your GCU email address and password.

GCU Life provides you with access to multiple different resources available to students. Most of these resources can be found in the GCU Menu. To access the menu, you can click on GCU Menu in the app or navigate to the left navigation menu.
From the GCU Menu you can access resources like: Halo Learn, the Student Portal, food resources, or even GCU’s social media pages.
GCU has multiple different resources available to help you make sure you have the right resources to succeed in your classes. Select the Quick Links from the GCU menu on the mobile app or scroll down to the Quick Links section of the website.
From the Quick Links section of the GCU Life app, you can access different resources including: maps for dining, printers, the campus, and shuttle stop, and a link for reserving a library study room. Check out the additional sections in Quick Links to see what is available to you.
GCU encourages all students to get involved with campus life which includes joining events on campus. Click the Events option in the app or at the top of the screen to see the events available to you.
Once on the Events page, you can filter the events to view any events that would best fit your campus experience.
Click View to view more details regarding the event that you are interested in joining.
GCU also wants to ensure that you have an opportunity to be a part of the community that can be found at GCU. Having community will help you not feel alone during your classes. To access the different groups GCU has to offer, select Groups.
From here, you can select any group that you would like to learn more about. If you are on the mobile app, select Discover to view the list of available groups.
If you would like to join a group, you can select Join Group. This will add you to the group and allow you to communicate with the members of the group.
The GCU Life mobile app also gives you the ability to open your Student Card. The Student Card shows information like your degree, when you are graduating, and a QR code that can be scanned during events.

If you are a faculty or staff member, your account needs to be created for you. Email gculife@gcu.edu to have your account created. They will send you an email to reset your password, click Click Here to Reset Your Password to continue.
Once you click the link, enter a new password for the GCU Life app. Once you click Reset, you can now log into the application.
If you need to reset the password for the GCU Life app, you can reach out to gculife@gcu.edu to get a new password reset email.
The GCU Life app is only available to active students with GCU. If you are not planning on starting courses on or after the 2023 Fall semester, you won’t be able to access the application. If you are actively taking courses at GCU and cannot sign in, please contact GCU Technical Support to have your issue escalated.
If you get the error, “Sorry, your password reset link was already used once or is not formatted properly” when resetting the password, you will need to contact the GCU Life team to get a new password reset email. You can reach out to them by contacting gculife@gcu.edu.
While you are on a page in the GCU Life site, you may want to leave and comeback to that page. On the GCU Life website, you can bookmark any page to easily navigate back to it in the future. To start, click the star icon in the top-right corner.
The bookmark menu will appear, and you can then enter a title and select the plus icon.
Once you bookmark the page, you can click the bookmark to return to that page at any time.
It is important that you don’t miss any updates from GCU or from your groups. You can receive different notifications through the Web, Email, or Mobile. To access your notifications settings, click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the GCU Life website.
Next, select Notification Settings.
Once you are on the notification settings, you can change what type of notifications you would like to receive. Placing a checkmark next to any options on this page will enable the notification.
The GCU Life app only pulls your name, email, what type of student you are, and your year of graduation. If you would like to add additional information to your GCU Life profile, click on the profile picture in the top-right corner.
Next, select Edit Profile.
Once on the edit page, you can add information to your profile including: additional basic information, contact information, your academic history, professional experience, your interests, and any social media links. When you are done making changes to the profile, press the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Since you can add information to your GCU Life profile, you may want to hide some of your information like your address or phone number. To do so, you can update your privacy settings of your GCU Life profile. To access your privacy settings, select the profile in the top-right corner.
Once you open your profile, select Privacy Settings.
Next, uncheck anything that you would like to hide or check anything you would like to show.
