Pageburst/Evolve is an electronic library of selected textbooks. It allows complete access to all content and images with searching, highlighting, note taking and printing to empower a customized studying experience. Many GCU Health Sciences eBooks are accessible via online access through Evolve (http://evolve.elsevier.com) and downloadable to a personal computer for offline access; plus a mobile app is also available for Apple and Android mobile devices. Before you can access any content, you must create an account. To create an account, click Sign in, then click Create an account. Make sure Student is selected, then input your personal information, including your GCU email, and create a new password. It's best to use the same password as your GCU password. Finally, if you do not wish to receive special offers and promotions from Elsevier, you can uncheck the checkbox at the bottom.
After clicking the Submit button, you will receive a confirmation email.
After creating your Evolve/Pageburst account, you can access you eBook by navigating to http://evolve.elsevier.com and clicking Sign In.

Here is a list of some common questions and their answers related to Evolve/Pageburst!
First, confirm that you have already created an account. You can check for the original account creation email that was sent to the email address that was used to create your account. If you are unable to access this email, click the Forgot Username or Password option and input your username or email address that was used in the account creation process. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
Access codes for Evolve/Pageburst eBooks are located in your GCU email. You can access your GCU email directly at outlook.office.com. If you are unable to locate the code within your GCU email, contact your Student Services Counselor for further assistance.
- After logging in, click Catalog in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- Enter your access code in the section titled Redeem an Access Code or Enter an Evolve Course ID and click Submit.

Once logged in, click My Evolve in the upper right-hand corner. Then click Go to VitalSource library.
This will take you to your VitalSource Bookshelf. Selecting a title will open the eBook in the browser.
For offline use, you can download the VitalSource Bookshelf. Once logged in, under My Evolve, click Go to VitalSource library.
This will direct you to your VitalSource Bookshelf. Click the Menu icon in the upper right-hand corner, then click Download.
This will direct you to the VitalSource support page where you can download the program appropriate for your computer. For more mobile device download options, click Bookshelf Support in the upper left-hand corner.
Once the installation is completed, the program will be located on your desktop.
