As part of the Microsoft 365 Apps for Education package we offer for free to all active GCU students, you can also download Microsoft 365 for iPad/iPhone. You may follow these steps to download any of the Microsoft 365 apps provided by GCU, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive. Each application is downloaded from the App store separately. Once you set up the first app, the others will automatically log you into your account. Expand/Collapse All Downloading the Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Search for and select the Microsoft app that you would like to download from the App Store. You can download the following apps: Outlook, Word, OneDrive, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Press the Get icon to download the Microsoft app for free. You may need to enter your iCloud username and password to make the app purchase. If you have previously downloaded the Microsoft App, you will see a cloud icon instead. After the app is finished downloading, press Open. Once the app loads, click Sign In. Enter your GCU email address (username@my.gcu.edu) and press Next. Then, enter your GCU password (the same as your Student Portal password) and click Sign in. You can select whether you would like to receive notifications from the app Select an option to begin working! Repeat these steps for each Microsoft 365 app that you'd like to install on your mobile device. Downloading the Microsoft 365 Copilot App Not only can you download the Microsoft 365 apps separately, but you can also download the full Microsoft 365 Copilot app from the App Store. Here are the steps to do so: Search for Microsoft 365 Copilot in the App Store. Tap the Get button to begin installing. Once you have it installed, you can open the app. Once the app loads, click Sign In. Enter your GCU email address (username@my.gcu.edu) and press Next. Then, enter your GCU password (the same as your Student Portal password) and click Sign in. You can select whether you would like to receive notifications from the app. You’ll be directed to the Copilot conversation. You can click the menu icon in the top left corner to access the files. Once in the menu, you can click on Create to start creating a new file.
