As part of the Microsoft 365 Apps for Education package we offer for free to all active GCU students, you can also download Microsoft on your Android device. You may follow these steps to download any of the Microsoft 365 apps provided by GCU, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive. Each application is downloaded from the App store separately. Once you set up the first app, the others will automatically log you into your account. Expand/Collapse All Downloading the Microsoft 365 Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Search for and select Microsoft app that you would like to download from the Play Store. You can download the following apps: Outlook, Word, OneDrive, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Select Install to download the Microsoft app for free. You may need to enter your Google account password. Once the download is complete, select Open. After opening the app, you will be prompted to sign in and sign up. Select Sign In to continue. Enter your GCU email (username@my.gcu.edu) and select the Next. Enter your GCU password (the same as your Student Portal) and select Sign in. You will be prompted to Verify your Identity upon signing in for the first time on a new device. You will then be signed into Microsoft 365. Select an option to begin using the Microsoft app. Repeat these steps for each Microsoft 365 app that you'd like to install. NOTE If you choose to create your documents in OneDrive, they will be accessible on all of your devices. Downloading the Microsoft 365 Copilot app Not only can you download the Microsoft 365 apps separately, but you can also download the full app from the Google Play Store. Here are the steps to do so: Look Up Microsoft 365 Copilot in the Google Play Store Tap the Install button After the app is done downloading, you will see an Open button. Select Open to open the app. Once you have the app opened and signed in, you can see all the documents you have worked on. In the top left corner, you can access the menu to create and edit your files.
