After completing the hiring process with Grand Canyon University, you will receive your GCU username and a MyGCU email account will be created for you. It’s important to check your email regularly as you will receive messages from students, other employees, and important notices from the university.
Quickly Accessing Your Email
The quickest way to access your MyGCU Email is by navigating to outlook.office.com. You will log in with your MyGCU email address, which is your GCU username followed by @my.gcu.edu (e.g.: firstname.lastname@example.org). Your password is the same password you use to access your portal. Once you have entered your username and password, click Sign In. For your convenience, we suggest bookmarking outlook.office.com to allow for quick access to your MyGCU Email.
Accessing Your Email Through the Portal
To access your MyGCU Email from within your Faculty Portal, navigate to Quick Links from the navigation pane on the left-hand side of your portal and select the Email link. Alternatively, you may see an Email link located at the top of your portal homepage that will direct you to the Email section.
Once you are in the Email section within your portal, click the Email link in the center of the page to proceed to outlook.office.com. If you are not directed to outlook.office.com in a new tab, you may need to adjust your browser’s pop-up blocker settings.
In a new tab, you will be directed to log into your MyGCU email. Your MyGCU email address is your GCU username followed by @my.gcu.edu (e.g.: email@example.com). Your password is the same password you use to access your portal. Once you have entered your username and password, click Sign In.
