Removing Malware from your Computer
Sometimes, malware can prevent you from accessing certain websites and put advertisements in places they shouldn't be (such as our websites). It's a good idea to only install programs or applications from companies you trust and remove any you aren't sure about. Removing malware is similar to uninstalling a program or removing add-ons and toolbars. There are also programs that help you remove malware from your device. Technical Support cannot assist with providing recommendations on programs to use to remove the malware, assist with installing third party programs, or find the source of the malware; however, we can assist with uninstalling programs or removing add-ons/toolbars you suspect are malicious, as long as you want to uninstall them and are using a computer that belongs to you. We recommend you consult with your local computer specialists for help removing malware.
