Which system am I using?
You may be using the Old LoudCloud if you see a purple/blue menu bar or if your url starts with lc-trad1.gcu.edu, lc-ugrad3.gcu.edu, or lc-grad3.gcu.edu.
You may be using the New LoudCloud (also referred to as the LMS) if your menu dropdown is on the left side or if your url starts with lms-trad.gcu.edu, lms-ugrad.gcu.edu, or lms-grad.gcu.edu.
The GCU Library can be accessed directly at http://library.gcu.edu/ or several other ways, including:
- Library links can be located within LoudCloud.
Online Courses (Old LoudCloud) Traditional Courses (Old LoudCloud) New LoudCloud (LMS)
- From within the GCU Portal by clicking the Library App.
- From the gcu.edu website by clicking on Students > Student Resources > Learning Resources. Once on the Learning Resources page, scroll down to locate the Visit Library link.
The Library Homepage
The Library homepage provides access to various tools, such as, Ask a Librarian, Webinars & Workshops, Library Tutorials, and much more. Accessing the Library homepage does not require you to log in. Once either Find Books & More or Find Journal Articles has been accessed, the Library may request login information in order to view the resources.
You must log in with your GCU username (@my.gcu.edu is not required) and password. Once signed in, no other login is necessary to enter any of the individual databases. If an individual database requests a login, you should speak to a Librarian about how to proceed.
All current GCU students can access the GCU Library. Students who have graduated will gain a limited alumni access through http://libguides.gcu.edu/alumni, but will not be able to access every Library resource.
