In the event that your account becomes locked due to frequent invalid login attempts, you can use one of the two password recovery options listed below to unlock your account.
You can reset the password for your GCU application by selecting the I forgot my password link below the Log In button.
Enter your First Name, Last Name, and User Name (typically your email address), then click Retrieve Question. Answer the security questions that were created during the Create a new account process and reset the password.
You can also use the Email Password Page to reset your password, which is located in the second paragraph of the Account Password Recovery page.
From here, simply type in the email address you used when you created your application and click Submit. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password and access your application.
Student Access (Log in With Student Portal Account)
If you have a student number and would like to access your application, you may log in with your Student Portal username and password rather than the one associated with the application site. In such cases, should you forget your password, a standard reset through the GCU Portal will allow you access as it would with any GCU site.
Please note, if you need to resubmit your application (such as your University Counselor put your application into Needs Correction status), you may access your application with your Student Portal credentials. However, on the last page of the application it will ask for a password to submit; enter the password linked to your application, not your GCU password. If you do not remember your application password, you will need to follow the steps to recover your application password.
